GLP accreditation and what it means for MAC

At the end of 2024, MAC Laboratory Services reached an exciting milestone: full accreditation under the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Monitoring Scheme. The impact of this achievement continues to resonate in everything we do, and I’m excited to share why it matters so much to us and to our partners.

This accreditation isn’t just a badge of honour; with GLP compliance, we now have the capability to conduct certified, GLP-compliant studies, paving the way for us to expand further into the preclinical space. For our Sponsors, this means even greater confidence in the reliability, integrity and reproducibility of the data we provide.

Our laboratories were designed with quality as a core principle, ensuring adherence to international standards. From our bespoke Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to our state-of-the-art technology, we have built an environment where precision and efficiency are vital. This not only guarantees the secure management of data but also supports the delivery of high-quality results that meet the stringent requirements of GLP standards.

From sample reception to cutting-edge haematology, clinical chemistry, and pharmacokinetic analyses, we leverage the latest technology to meet the diverse needs of our sponsors. These capabilities, paired with our flexible services, enable us to support a wide range of non-clinical studies and provide the high-quality, reliable data that underpins crucial decision-making in drug development.

This achievement is not just about accreditation; it’s about what it means for the work we do and the partners we support. Our dedication to quality, innovation, and collaboration has always been at the heart of our approach. Now, with GLP accreditation, we can extend that commitment even further, providing sponsors with the confidence that every study conducted at MAC Laboratory Services meets the highest regulatory standards. I extend my sincere gratitude to our entire team for their hard work and dedication in achieving this milestone. It is their expertise and passion that have brought us here.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about the possibilities this opens up for us and for our partners. Whether you are looking for support with haematology, clinical chemistry, pharmacokinetic analyses, or beyond, MAC Laboratory Services is now fully equipped to deliver GLP-compliant studies that meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
